OK. So we're finally ready to start tiling downstairs. First, "OOOOOps, there's not enough tile." Then, "OOOOOps, this ceramic tile isn't thick enough for day to day use and we'll need to go back AGAIN for different tile."

Hello....... Can you read a blueprint? Why didn't you tell me that when I bought it !!??!!

This project will never be done.

Well, not so bad. Tile is in, and tomorrow it gets grouted. The tile continues into the bathroom on the right.

"Hey, Larry, there ain't enough of this wrong tile to do the job poorly."

"Well just order more, Daryll. THEN we'll send it back for the right stuff."

    Your response should be:

"Ooops, I forgot to sign the check."

"Ooops, I wrote it for half what you asked for..."

Well, it appears everything is now under control. The tile man is actually a great guy and thank god he noticed the tile wouldn't work before he put it down.

Avoid hos-tile if you can help it. Infan-tile works only in a baby's room and gen-tile is anti-Semitic. Mercan-tile may be your best bet.

my dad put ceramic tile down in his kitchen and after that experience he learned to do it himself. now he is doing their living room and putting stone on the wall. it might take longer but atleast he doesn't have to deal with all the oops!! but tile is so damn cold to the footsies

    Wink

I feel like I live in Daj's neighborhood because my downstairs toilet is currently out in the backyard.
